About the Jaycees: The United States Junior Chamber or “Jaycees” is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to individual improvement and community service. There is also the Junior Chamber International (JCI). The focus is providing building blocks of success for men and women, ages 18-40, in the areas of individual development, leadership, business and management skills, community service, and social skills.

Historically, the Jaycees have given back to the community in a multitude of ways such as building playgrounds, parks, hospitals, housing, and aiding in fundraisers for organizations like Muscular Dystrophy, Juvenile Diabetes, March of Dimes, and much more.

Many of our nation’s leaders and role models have learned much of their leadership skills through Jaycee membership and participation. Such previous members include Bill Clinton, Ronald Regan, Gerald Ford, Bill Gates, Howard Hughes, Kofi Annan (UN Secretary General), and Warren E. Burger (Chief Justice, US Supreme Court).
